Charles Hoskinson, CEO of the IOHK company behind Cardano, vehemently rejected the possibility of a US government banning the first cryptocurrency.
During the AMA (ask me anything) session, he said:
“This ship sailed. Bitcoin is not banned."
Earlier, Ray Dalio, founder of Bridgewater Associates, stated that there is a high likelihood of a digital gold ban in the United States. The billionaire referred to the example of India, in which a similar decision for all cryptocurrencies is being considered at the legislative level.

Hoskinson also announced plans to talk with the founder of the crypto bank Galaxy Digital Mike Novogratz regarding the native Cardano token - ADA.
However, the head of IONK urged the community not to have much hope that Novogratz will become a supporter of the coin.
“Maybe we can convince him that Cardano is a real project. I think he is probably a fan of the popularity of Ethereum and considers us to be scammers and me as a pathological liar, ”added Hoskinson ironically.

In early March, Novogratz asked Twitter followers what Cardano was and where the asset had such a large market capitalization from. He added that he never traded ADA.At the end of February, during a bullish rally, the cryptocurrency climbed to third place in the ranking by market capitalization. At the time of writing, Cardano is in fifth place with a market cap of just over $ 38 billion, slightly behind Binance Coin and Tether.
