Law enforcement authorities opened a criminal case against a resident of Minsk, who illegally installed a mining farm in the basement of one of the children's educational institutions. This was reported by the agency Minsk-News.

The father-in-law, working in the institution as a worker, helped the fraudster install equipment. The farm was discovered by chance because of the large amount of rainfall, the basement began to flood.

Law enforcers emphasized that the operation of mining farms is not regulated, however, the suspect illegally consumed electricity from the educational center for the extraction of cryptocurrencies.
