US firm to buy 30,000 Antminer S19j Pro miners from Bitmain

Chinese mining equipment manufacturer Bitmain will supply US-based TeraWulf with 30,000 Antminer S19j Pro devices.

According to the agreement, miners will be delivered monthly from January to June 2022. As a result, the company expects the hashrate to grow by 3 EH/s.

TeraWulf plans to go public. The firm's website says it is over 90% carbon neutral.

Recall that Bitmain offered Chinese miners assistance in moving abroad.

According to the forecast of Kevin Zhang, vice president of the American mining company Foundry, by the end of June, approximately 90% of Chinese cryptocurrency mining enterprises will turn off their equipment due to the prohibitive measures of the authorities against the industry.
