In terms of the NYTimes’ DealBook online meeting held on November 9, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that he holds crypto and has been interested in the industry for a while.

To the question from Andrew Sorkin, if he owns Bitcoin or Ether, Cook said he does. The entrepreneur said that in his opinion, it makes sense to have crypto as a part of a diversified portfolio.

Tim Cooknoted that it's his personal choice and he doesn't give financial advice. He also added that it's his personal view, not commenting on whether it's possible for Apple to start accepting crypto as a payment method, as there are no plans for the near future.
The Apple CEO said the company is unlikely to include in its cash balance, as he believes people don’t look for getting exposure to digital assets through an Apple stock.
When asked about NFTs, the entrepreneur said he finds the sphere interesting too, but it would take a while to become mainstream.
