Immediately, several well-known politicians in Germany received letters threatening of “execution” from an anonymous author, who extorted bitcoins from them. About it reports Koelner Stadt Anzeiger.

These threats were sent to the mayor of Cologne, Henriette Röcker, the mayor of Altena, Andreas Holstein and several other German politicians.

Unknown promises to "execute" them in 2020, if by the end of the summer does not receive 100 million euros in bitcoins.

The attacker also wrote that “purges” among politicians began with the assassination of the mayor of the city of Kassel Walter Lubke, who was shot dead in his own garden on June 2 of this year.

It is noteworthy that Röcker and Holstein recently were victims of an attack. During the autumn election campaign, Röcker was seriously injured in an attack by a right-wing extremist. Holstein was attacked in 2017, the politician was wounded in the neck and hospitalized.

It is reported that the received letters of threats have already been transferred to the police for further investigation.

Recall that earlier this year, the Norwegian police confirmed the abduction of the wife of one of the richest entrepreneurs in the country, Tom Hagen. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 9 million in Monero cryptocurrency.
