Founded in 1744, Sotheby will auction digital artist Murat Pak in April as non-fungible tokens (NFT).

“It is too early to talk about the art of cryptography in general. But NFT is exciting. We believe the technology has potential, ”head of the site Charles Stewart said in an interview with CNBC.

The artist, hiding under the pseudonym Murat Pak, has become one of the prominent figures in the digital art space due to his inherent monochrome style.

The Murat Pak collection will include a series of standalone editions as well as one-of-a-kind items such as Beeple's “Everydays: The First 5000 Days”. In February, it was sold at Christie’s auction for almost $ 70 million.
