Shibarium, the Layer 2 scaling solution for the Shiba Inu, will be launched soon. It is expected to go live in the first half of 2022. However, the official date wasn't announced yet.

According to the 2022 roadmap of the public/private blockchain ecosystem, Unification Foundation, developers are working on the solution partnering with the Shib Army to allow more affordable transactions for gaming.
The private testnet of the project is now live, with the public one said to be released very soon. Shibarium is built on top of Ethereum. It will support trading and other activities, making the ecosystem run more efficiently.
Currently, Shiba Inu (SHIB) trades at around $0.0000332. In the last 7 days, the SHIB price increased by over 50%. The token ranks 13th by market cap, which stands at over $18.4 billion at present.
