Ripple could move its headquarters to Japan or Singapore if it decides to leave the US due to regulatory uncertainties. That is the CEO of the organization Brad Garlinghouse.
Switzerland, the UK, and the UAE are also on the list of possible countries to relocate. All of these countries have clear rules for regulating the crypto industry, Garlinhouse said.
The US regulators, on the other hand, have different approaches regarding the definition of cryptos as a commodity, currency, property, or security.
Ripple continues to sue investors who allege the company violated US securities laws.

In Japan, Ripple is already actively collaborating with SBI, one of the largest economic conglomerates in the country. The companies have a joint venture - SBI Ripple Asia - to provide payment services to financial institutions.
“Japan is one of our quickest-growing markets. This is in part because SBI is one of our important partners,” said Garlinghouse.
"I spoke with SBI representatives that we are looking at Japan as a potential move." Earlier this month, Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen said the company could move to the UK or Singapore.
