One of the teachers at St. Mary's University, professor of law Angela Walch appealed to the US Senate with a call to regulate legislation regarding the process of mining digital assets as soon as possible.

Walch expressed confidence that to make informed decisions, the government should more carefully study the nuances of the activities of cryptocurrency miners. In her opinion, miners are key figures in ordering transactions on blockchains.

In addition, Walch noted that if the situation in the mining space is ignored, cryptocurrencies may suffer. So, the woman is sure that sooner or later the miners of digital assets will realize their influence on the operation of blockchains and will thus be able to manipulate the cryptocurrencies themselves directly.
