A man from Missouri has been given 12 years in jail for attempts to buy a poisonous chemical. He wanted to use BTC for the trade and kill the woman who broke up with him.

The 46-years old accused Jason William Siesser pleaded guilty on 4 August 2020 for two crimes: one for trying to obtain a bioweapon and the second one for identity theft. The accused confessed to the U.S. Department of Justice that in 2018 he made two attempts to get the chemical weapon dimethylmercury from the dark web.In his both attempts Siesser provided the information of juveniles being in his care via the group home he worked for.
The substance he was trying to get is highly dangerous with the ability to kill hundreds of people.On August 23, 2018, Siesser received a controlled shipment set up by the FBI. The box contained a harmless substance instead of the ordered chemical. Then the officers researched home and found around 10 grams of cadmium arsenide, a toxic substance, which can be deadly if ingested or inhaled, about 100 grams of cadmium metal and 500 mL of hydrochloric acid announced by the U.S. DoJ.
There was also writing where the accused expressed his hatred about his ex-wife and a woman who dumped him.
