Block CEO Jack Dorsey revealed who the selected members of the ₿trust Board are. ₿trust is a BTC endowment. Dorsey and famous rapper Jay-Z started the program to support BTC development in India and Africa. Dorsey and Jay-Z contributed 500 Bitcoins to the initiative. The aim of ₿trust is to make Bitcoin the currency of the Internet.

The first time, the initiative was announced in February. Then, Dorsey tweeted that there are three board members needed.
However, on December 16, he tweeted that reviewing around 7000 applications, they selected 4 board members. They are; software engineer at Lightning Labs Carla Kirk-Cohen, CTO of African venture startup Recursive Capital Abubakar Nur Khalil, CEO of the Bitcoin exchange Coinfloor Obi Nwosu, and Managing Partner of African startup at The Creative Economy Practice Ojoma Ochai.
The board members will work to define the strategy of ₿trust and how to divide 500 bitcoins for development purposes.

Jack Dorsey is a huge BTC supporter. On November 29, he resigned from his position as Twitter CEO. Later, financial services company Square, owned by Dorsey was rebranded as Block.
