For the past three weeks in a row, institutional investors have poured capital into crypto-focused funds.

According to CoinShares, last week the volume of capital investments amounted to $85 million. The researchers note that the institutions have stepped up after bitcoin again exceeded $40,000.

Investors from North and South America invested the largest amount in crypto funds. Canada and Brazil accounted for about 88% of the total funds.

Bitcoin and Ethereum-focused funds have raised $71 million and $26.8 million, respectively. The last time about the same activity of institutionalists was observed in early December last year.

Analysts note that the inflow of funds into crypto funds resumed in the second half of January. Before this, for five weeks in a row, investors, on the contrary, withdrew capital from products focused on digital assets.

Cryptocurrency-related funds Solana, Polkadot, and Cardano were also able to raise funds last week, the company said in a report.
