Charlie Munger about Bitcoin

American billionaire businessman, vice-chairman of the US-based international conglomerate holding firm Berkshire Hathaway, Charlie Munger considers Bitcoin advancement "disgusting". He stated this opinion at the yearly meeting of the company held on May 1.

Although Munger has never supported BTC, those were his strongest words of dislike. Earlier this year Warren Buffet's closest partner and right-hand called the largest cryptocurrency volatile. In Munger's words, his hatred for BTC's success is natural as he doesn't appreciate a currency that is useful for criminals. Besides, he finds it wrong that a person who simply created a financial system out of nowhere receives huge amounts of money.

Munger thinks the entire evolvement is disgusting and doesn't work in the favor of civilization.

Berkshire Hathaway's CEO Warren Buffet refused to answer the question, saying the answer will make angry thousands of people who own BTC and are following the company's meeting. However, earlier Buffet said BTC may be "rat poison squared" and gambling means.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin price has gained over 11% during the previous 7 days. Currently, it trades at around $58.550.
