Data from the blockchain analytics platform Glassnode shows that the number of addresses holding more than 1 Bitcoin hit a new all-time high of 858,647.
This indicator shows that the current price decline is considered as an investment opportunity for many. In the last 7 days, the coin fell by around $30,000 and currently trades at around $21,000. Bitcoin's market cap is around $400 billion.
Recently, MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor said in an interview that he can't come up with a better investment idea than BTC.
The company began investing in Bitcoin in August 2020, and has purchased around 130,000 coins for a total of $4 bln. Saylor noted that for any timeframe BTC was the best performing asset. For short-term investments Bitcoin seems to be a volatile risk asset but it is a store of value for a further time horizon, Saylor noted. He added that now the current fall of price is a great buying opportunity, and that he believes the coin is backed by the world’s most secure computer network.
