The previous record level of 15.44 T held since January 29.

A couple of days ago, The Block noted the possibility of a new increase in complexity due to the partial resumption of supplies of mining equipment by Canaan and Bitmain.

BTC's mining complexity is adjusted every two weeks, calculating the power needed to find a new block. For the first time in 2020, the complexity decreased slightly against the outbreak of coronavirus on February 25.

Note that the quarantine measures taken by China led to delays in supplies and the closure of some mining centers, but most of them still continued to work.
