"Having spent the last year preparing for Bitcoin 2020 along with an amazing group of speakers, panelists, sponsors and partners, we’re disappointed to ask you to wait a few more months. But we’re confident that Bitcoin 2020 will still serve as the biggest and best celebration of Bitcoin in history at this later date," said organizers.
They also confirmed that all already purchased tickets remain valid for the new dates and that visitors do not need to take any additional actions.
Nodl, a French company developing the Lightning Network, also planned to host its own event during Bitcoin 2020 but is now considering moving it to the online space.
