U.S. e-commerce focused IT giant Amazon is hiring a digital currency and blockchain product lead.

As stated in the job announcement, the specialist will be a part of the payments proceedings team.The new teammate will own the vision and strategy for blockchain-based product strategy and its development. This could mean that the fintech intends to add crypto operations on its system.
Earlier, in February, Amazon announced plans to create its digital asset.
Also, the entity plans to expand the staff by hiring over 70 experts in blockchain space.There is a likelihood that Amazon will work on a blockchain supply business. In a publication, the firm mentioned to be motivated by crypto innovation and is studying what it can bring to its platform.
The team believes that emerging technologies are the future as they will allow advanced, quick, and low-cost payments. Amazon hopes to offer that option to its users sooner.
