What is Horizen?
Originally identified as a Zencash, Horizen is a blockchain-based, decentralized, open-source cryptocurrency that highly values secrecy and anonymity of its users. ZEN is a fork of ZCL (ZClassic). The forking process was executed by Rob Viglione and Rolf Versluis. It was build to implement a P2P economic network for media, messaging and finances. Horizen didn’t launch ICO and not even performed premining, it has a determined lifetime amount of 21 million coins. The circulating supply of the coin was equal to 6 million ZEN and the market capitalization equalled $41 million in March 2019.
