US Navy bets $9.5M on blockchain to secure messaging

The Simba Chain was given almost $10M to create a preserved communication platform for the US Navy.

Chief Executive of the company Joel Neidig noticed that the platform is planned to be finished this year with continuous updates during the following four years.

The company also stated that the Naval organization turned to Simba Chain to build a solution for secured contact for the Department of Defense.

The Naval Center has given the startup $9.5M as part of an SBIR Phase III contract continuing five years.

Neidig stated they're going to reveal some more adjustments during the next season.

In August last year, the startup had already cooperated with the US military. The team has built a supply chain solution for the US Air Force.
