Digital currencies and blockchain-focused investment fund Pantera Capital is supposed to complete the Blockchain Fund within about a month after securing $1.3 bln. In the latest conference call, the firm said that the raised capital is roughly two times higher than the original goal of $600 M.

Pantera started fundraising last November to invest in blockchain companies. In addition, the company revealed its near future roadmap, which includes the second blockchain fund next year.
Pantera's other fund, Select, will concentrate on investing in more advanced, profit-making projects..
The company's CEO Dan Morehead said that the certain date for closing the deal is uncertain but it may be in the beginning of May.Morehead said the company will wrap up the Blockchain Fund over the coming three or four weeks. He added that the company is likely to return with a larger investment, which can start in 2024.
Pantera has invested in 44 token projects and venture capital deals. It has supported blockchain projects from various sectors such as, metaverse, games, NFTs, DeFi, development platforms, etc.
