What is Flexacoin?
Flexa is a blockchain-based instant payments protocol for digital currencies. The system allows spending a number of cryptocurrencies across the United States and Canada, and receive rewards via the Flexa-supporting wallet. Users can make purchases with Flexa within 1 second in stores or online. The system uses a decentralized framework to ensure fast and secure operations. The supported currencies include from USD and CAD digital dollars to multiple popular loyalty tokens and digital currencies. The network was co-founded in 2018 in New York. Initially, it had a collateralization token Flexacoin (FXC). In July 2020, after the system update, FXC migrated to AMP as there wasn't an option to adapt the coin to the DeFi innovations. The new token was launched on September 8, 2020, replacing FXC. It is a result of a collaboration of Flexa with ConsenSys. Flexa runs the Flex Network Protocol and Flexa Capacity. The first one allows to carry out operations, while the second one is a Dapp for supporting digital assets from wallets. By providing AMP tokens via the Dapp, users get network rewards.
