The founder of the crypto platform Tron, Justin Sun announced that he had received the invitation to become the Ambassador of the Grenadian Government to the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

Sun said that he will be engaged with the TRON network participants and supporters and drive the growth of the network. The Tron founder added that this step makes TRON truly decentralized.

Sharing a public letter, he said that a new era of decentralization starts for Tron.

Justin Sun believes that the WTO's recognition of blockchain technology's value is of vital importance for the sector. At the end of his letter, he told the community he sees blockchain tech as the enabler of decentralized finance infrastructure for everyone. Tron founder said due to united efforts that day would come soon.

Sun founded the Tron ecosystem with its native token TRX in 2018 and served as its CEO till today. Today TRX is the 24th largest cryptocurrency, with a market cap of over $8.1 bln.
