El Salvador President Nayib Bukele said the country will provide over $200 M in infrastructure investments to upgrade Bitcoin Beach. The beach El Zonte was renamed Bitcoin Beach as it accepts Bitcoin. The place has become a tourist hotspot, and investments will serve for the construction of different buildings.

The government announcement says they are going to fix an area of 15,000 square meters. There will be a shopping mall, parking, a beach club, and sewage treatment. The investment will be used for the construction of bike paths, 14 bridges, and more.
The government also mentioned with all the investment made in Circuit 1 of the Surf City, it is supposed that the La Libertad port tourist complex will be able to serve more than 1 million Salvadorians a year. This step will create more jobs and will make a profit.
