The crypto has seen a dip today. Bitcoin price fell below $50.000 for the first time since October 6. In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin dropped by over 17.5%.

Other major cryptocurrencies, Ether, ADA, Binance Coin also declined sharply. Ether fell below $4.000 and currently trades at about $3.800, BNB dropped to $530 and ADA to $1.31.

The global crypto market cap decreased by over 16% in the last day, hitting $2.2 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap.

One of the reasons for the plunge is that there is also a negative momentum in the software stocks, with Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), Tesla (TSLA), and others going down.

Meanwhile, the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele announced buying the dip once more. According to a tweet by him, El Salvador added 150 BTC to its holding at an average price of $48.670.
